On-Page SEO Checklist for Service Pages
In shortOne service per page, one main keyword per service, a title that matches the search, visible price and delivery, an FAQ, Service schema and links from your blog posts.
- One service, one page. Don’t combine “SEO audit” and “web design” on one URL.
- Keyword in the title tag, near the start, under ~60 characters.
- Meta description that sells: what, price, delivery, benefit — under ~155 characters.
- One H1 that matches the search intent.
- Opening paragraph that states the outcome in plain words.
- What’s included as a scannable list.
- Price and delivery time visible. Pages with prices often convert better because visitors self-qualify.
- FAQ section answering real objections — also eligible for FAQ structured data.
- Service schema with an Offer and price.
- Internal links from related blog posts to the service page with descriptive anchor text.
- A strong call to action above the fold and again at the end — WhatsApp, email or booking.
- Proof: reviews, certificates or results near the CTA. See trust signals.
Common mistakes
- Thin pages with three sentences and a contact form.
- Copying the same text across city or service variations.
- Hiding the price behind “contact us” for simple services.
