Landing Page vs Sales Page: Which One Do You Need?
In shortLow-price or simple offers → short landing page with one action. Higher-price or unfamiliar offers → longer sales page that handles objections before asking for money.
Landing page
- Goal: one action — sign up, book a call, download, register.
- Length: short. Headline, benefits, proof, form.
- Best for: lead magnets, free consultations, webinars, events, ad campaigns.
Sales page
- Goal: a purchase on the page.
- Length: long enough to answer every reasonable question.
- Structure: problem → solution → offer → proof → FAQ → guarantee → buy button, repeated.
- Best for: courses, products, packages and services with a clear price.
How to choose
Ask: how much does the visitor need to know before saying yes? If the answer is “very little”, keep it short. If it’s “a lot”, a short page will feel pushy and convert poorly.
